On September 2023, the private school, Providence Classical Christian School, invested $ 2.8 million to acquire a property in the Wellington Hills rural neighborhood. The proposed new campus will be substantial, including a school building of 98,000 sq. ft., a large playground, an athletic field, a track for track meets, a PA system, flood lights, and parking for 195 cars. The school currently has 403 students (pre-kindergarten through 12th grade) but plans for over 540 students at the new location.
The location used to be Pat's Perennials/ Ted's Sheds is across the street from Windsor Park, on 7531 224th St. SE, Woodinville, WA. Currently, their school is located in the North Creek Business Park (120th Ave NE, Bothell) across the street from the old Seattle Times building and North of Home Depot.

The scope of this project is vast and will have a significant impact on our community. Apart from the anticipated noise, dust, and prolonged construction traffic, the rise in school traffic will pose significant safety risks.

As we get ready for our first fundraising campaign in early 2025, we rely on your support.
We aim to retain experts in traffic, drainage, and septic, as well as potential legal counsel. Please spread the word and feel free to reach out if you have questions. We will provide future updates as information becomes available.
The preliminary traffic study predicts a substantial increase of 1330 new daily trips, concentrated at school drop off in the morning rush hour, 7-9 am (422 trips), and school pick up in the afternoon rush hour, 4-6 pm (90 trips). This will lead to traffic congestion on 75th Ave SE, causing potential safety issues at the light at Woodinville-Duvall Road every afternoon, as will traffic going down 240th St. SE to the 522 Interchange.
entry to 522, is already challenging to navigate. From 4 to 6, it will become even more hazardous when the school's traffic arrives. Expect half-mile backups on Bostian Road every day, further exacerbating safety concerns.
A third entrance planned for 78th Ave SE is directly opposite Windsor Park's north entrance. When the school reaches its intended population of over 540 students, 75 to 100 students will drive to school, meaning 150 to 200 cars (75 faculty, administrators + students) will be vying for the 195 parking spaces on campus.
Currently the school has 403 students but plans for over 540 students at the new location. Their plan is to build a parking lot for parking for 195 cars. However, the parking overflow from the school onto local side streets is the biggest drawback impacting Windsor Park and potentially other neighborhoods.
In addition, students, fans, and parents from other schools will drive here for athletic events throughout the year, including soccer in the fall, basketball in the winter, and track in the spring. These extra cars, unable to find parking on campus, will exit directly into Windsor Park and other neighborhoods in search of parking.
PO box is 531, Woodinville, Washington 98072, United States
